January 19, 2009 11:01:47Music fans in France have voted their particular favorites at this year's NRJ Music Awards. Britney Spears, Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, Rihanna and The Pussycat Dolls among others were those receiving awards at the gala ceremony taking place on January 17 in Cannes.
Claiming double victory, Britney was named as International Female Artist of the Year, beating down Christina Aguilera, Pink, Rihanna and Beyonce Knowles. She also scooped another prize for Music Video of the Year, putting aside other music videos coming from Fall Out Boy, Martin Solveig, Zaho and Stanislas et Calogero.
