Rep Claims Melanie Griffith's Latest Rehab Stint Is a Routine
August 25, 2009 11:08:00Melanie Griffith has checked herself into rehab, and amidst speculation on the cause that prompts her to seek treatment, her representative Robin Baum has confirmed the actress' latest trip to rehab is a routine. "She is there to reinforce her commitment to stay healthy," says Robin.
"This is part of a routine plan that was designed between her and her doctors years ago," Robin stresses. In the meantime, multiple sources report Melanie is currently staying at Cirque Lodge in Utah.

The actress would later on team up with R&B star Usher, who has already signed on as slick lawyer Billy Flynn.
A Designer Sued Melanie Griffith

Melanie Griffith is facing a $26,000 lawsuit filed by Emmy Award-winning designer Niklas J. Palm. In his lawsuit, filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Niklas claimed that Griffith refused to pay the $26,000 dress he designed for her and her daughters, Dakota Johnson and Stella Banderas, for the Golden Globes Awards.
Further, Niklas alleged that he has on Jan 16th submitted a $25,960 bill and Griffith was overdue in making any payments. Moreover, Griffith promised "that he will receive publicity that money could not buy, then conveniently forgot his name when reporters on the red carpet specifically asked who designed her beautiful gown - taking credit for the gown herself," the lawsuit said.
