'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' Takes World Premiere to a Desert City
April 28, 2009 03:04:36Amidst reports that 20th Century Fox are scrapping plans to release "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" in Mexico this weekend due to the swine flu, the world premiere event for the action fantasy movie has taken place in the desert city of Tempe, Arizona. On Monday, April 27, Hollywood stars and fans alike gathered at Harkin's Theaters Tempe Marketplace for the special screening.
Attending the premiere in style was the film's leading man, Hugh Jackman. Wearing all black attire completed with a leather jacket, the actor who played Wolverine in this "X-Men" spin-off rode in on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was then joined by co-stars, Liev Schreiber, Lynn Collins, will.i.am, Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Kitsch.

February 16, 2008 02:02:52The co-star of Nicolas Cage in "Leaving Las Vegas" Danny Huston will be joining Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber in the action fantasy film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". According to JoBlo, the actor in "30 Days of Night" has signed deal to portray young William Stryker.
The movie site noted that the news of Huston's landing the role dismissed speculation that television star of "Dexter" Michael C. Hall was considered for the part. Further, the site claimed that a source close to the production has said that the actor is already on the location to prepare for the filming.
