AceShowbiz - Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, who share sons Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, currently are not on the best of terms. During a recent appearance on SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live", Anderson disclosed that she and the Motley Crue drummer have not been communicating as often as they used to.
"We used to talk a lot more," the "Baywatch" alum admitted, "Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now."
Despite their current lack of communication, Anderson remains optimistic, hoping that even amid strained relations, family milestones can serve as a bridge towards reconciliation. "My youngest son is engaged and we're gonna have grandkids together," Anderson shared with Cohen, pointing to Dylan's engagement to Paula Bruss in July 2024.
Anderson and Lee's history is filled with passionate highs and tumultuous lows. The couple famously tied the knot in 1995 only to divorce three years later in 1998. They welcomed their older son Brandon in 1996, followed by Dylan in 1997.
Over the years, they rekindled their romance multiple times, though it never seemed to stick permanently. Their rocky relationship was even dramatized in the recent series "Pam & Tommy", a portrayal that Anderson revealed she found to be "hurtful."
Amid these struggles and her long hiatus from the acting world, Anderson remains a force to reckon with in Hollywood as her big screen comeback, "The Last Showgirl", was lauded by critics.
She's grateful for being recognized for her work rather than the sensationalized moments of her past. "I'm being seen and recognized for my work and not these tawdry moments," she said, highlighting her collaborative connection with director Gia Coppola via her son Brandon.
Meanwhile, Lee has moved on with his life, marrying comedian Brittany Furlan in February 2019 after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya. Despite their different paths, both Anderson and Lee continue to share the bond of parenthood, and this bond is expected to grow stronger with the impending arrival of grandchildren.
As Anderson looks forward to new beginnings both personally and professionally, the hope remains that she and Lee can mend their strained relations for the benefit of their growing family. "It'll be okay, eventually," she reiterated, encapsulating the enduring optimism that defines their complicated relationship.
