Social media users, believed to be fans of the Rhode Skin owner, tweak a statement made by Selena's boyfriend Benny Blanco about his own hygiene which did not mention his girlfriend.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber (Hailey Baldwin)'s supposed feud continues to play on the Internet despite no actual action from the stars themselves. Hailey's fans have reportedly accused the singer/actress of not showering for weeks in bizarre claims.
According to Pop Faction, Hailey's fans spread false claims that the former Disney darling did not shower everyday and could go for weeks without shampooing. The supposed fans tweaked Benny Blanco's statement about his own personal hygiene, which did not mention his girlfriend, in an interview for People's Sexiest Man Alive issue.
"Benny Blanco reveals he and Selena gomez don't shower everyday to People's Sexiest Man Alive issue," the viral tweet by Hailey's fans read. " 'I don't believe in always shampooing your hair, I don't shower every day and Selena also chooses the same patch, taking a bath twice a week and washing her hair every three weeks.' "
Meanwhile, the real quote by Benny actually read, "I also don't believe in always shampooing your hair or conditioning your hair. I'm really clean, but I don't shower every day. Some people I know shower two to three times a day, but I feel like the oils on your skin don't have time to rejuvenate and get juicy."
The fabricated claims surfaced online after Hailey's beauty brand Rhode received F reviews from customers over its mold-like smelling lip gloss and poor refund policy. One of the complaints read, "I placed an order in June and I received it around the 26th of June. I immediately emailed Rhode because my lip glosses all smelt like mold and were grainy and my blushes were smooshed and looked like the box maybe had been destroyed in transit. They did not answer me. I sent over 10+ emails."
Back in October, a TikTok user also falsely claimed that Selena stopped following Sabrina Carpenter on Instagram due to a photo displaying Rhode products. "Selena unfollowed Sabrina Carpenter on Instagram after she posted wearing Rhode blush and lip treat, Hailey Bieber brand," the caption on the post read.
However, it turned out that the accusation was not true. Selena never followed Sabrina on Instagram in the first place. Moreover, as Pop Faction reported, the TikTok account "has been known to fake screenshots to cause social media users to lash out at Gomez, the creator of the page has also been deleting comments to keep the lie going."
