AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has a reason to celebrate with her loved ones tonight. The 2024 MTV European Music Awards has announced its winners, including the "All Too Well" hitmaker who was revealed as the biggest winner.
The star-studded event was held in Manchester, U.K. on Sunday night, November 10. The 34-year-old superstar, who was absent at the award-giving show to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce at his NFL game, led the winner list with four wins after receiving seven nominations.
Taylor was announced as the winner of Best Video for her "Fortnight" music video featuring Post Malone. She also won Best Artist against fellow artists Post, Beyonce Knowles, Billie Eilish, RAYE and Sabrina Carpenter. Furthermore, she took home the Best Live award and the Best U.S. Act award.
In her acceptance speech, which was pre-recorded, Taylor voiced her appreciation for her fans, "Hey guys, it's Taylor. I am coming to you from the 'Eras Tour'. I'm so sad that I can't be with you tonight but thank you so much for these amazing awards. The fact that you have honored the tour, everything that has happened with the album this year, the video, it's just unbelievable."
The "Shake It Off" songstress went on to say, "I have to say thank you so much to Post Malone for being the most amazing co-star possible in the 'Fortnight' music video. Thank you to the fans for voting on this. You're the reason any great thing happens to me and I know it every single day. I'm so thankful for it and this is just so exciting and so wonderful. I had the best time touring in Europe this summer so it is just wonderful for you to do this."
