AceShowbiz - Howie Mandel has opened up about the horrific details surrounding his wife Terry's drunken fall in a Las Vegas hotel room in February. While appearing on "Live! With Kelly and Mark", Mandel recounted the ordeal.

He said, "We partied. It was too much. She was tipsy. I did not know that, and in the middle of the night, she got up and, I don't know where she was headed, but she headed into the wall."

Terry fell and hit the wainscoting with her face, sustaining severe injuries. "She slipped, went down, hit that on her eye, fell on the floor, and broke her cheek," Mandel explained.

A photo on the show revealed a purple bruise under Terry's eye and a deep cut on her forehead. The severity of the injury was such that Mandel could see her skull.

Mandel panicked and rushed to help his wife, but she was still intoxicated at the hospital. However, she has since made a full recovery and has not sustained any scars.

"She is absolutely perfect," Mandel reassured Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. "There is not a scar. She is beautiful."

Mandel also recalled a humorous moment during the incident when Terry freaked out after being admitted to the hospital. A doctor calmed her down by simply removing the sheet covering half of her face, which she apparently was not aware was blocking her vision.
