AceShowbiz - Harry Styles has officially debuted his shaved head on Instagram. After leaving fans in shambles following reports that he chopped his long hair, the singer has confirmed that he did shave his head.
The British heartthrob gave a clearer and close look at his new hairstyle or lack thereof in a photo uploaded on the Instagram account of Pleasing, the beauty and apparel line he launched in 2021. The account shared the never-before-seen picture of its founder on Wednesday, November 16.
According to the caption, the image was taken an event to promote the launch of Harry's Pleasing Fragrance in London sometime earlier this month. "Our Founder, Harry Styles, toasts the launch of Pleasing Fragrance with friends in London. November, 2023," read the caption.
In the photo, the "Daylight" crooner wore a chocolate-brown sweater with two white kissing swans knit on the front. His short hair was clearly visible in the snap as he posed in a dimly-lit room and faced straight to the camera.
The sweater, which is also from his brand Pleasing, will be available for purchase on December 1, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter, from Harry Styles Daily.
Harry's new hairstyle continues to divide his fans, with many leaving their mixed opinions in the comments section of Pleasing's Instagram post. "not sure if i should smile or cry," one person reacted to the photo. Another wrote, "Can you hear me screaming and crying," while a third lamented, "literally in mourning."
On the other hand, another fan declared that Harry is "STILL HOT." A fifth person supported the former One Direction member's decision to shave his head, sharing, "IM HAPPY HE DID WHAT HE WANTED WITHOUT CARING WHAT OTHER PPL THINK!!!"
Harry's shaved head was first revealed when he attended U2's Las Vegas Sphere concert with his girlfriend Taylor Russell earlier this month. This led to fans' speculation that he changed his hairstyle due to lyrics on Taylor Swift's song "Now That We Don't Talk".
On the track off her "1989 (Taylor's Version)", the pop superstar makes it clear that she did not like how her ex changed and grew his hair long. "You grew your hair long/ You got new icons/ And from the outside/ It looks like you're tryin' lives on," she sings. "I miss the old ways/ You didn't have to change/ But I guess I don't have a say/ Now that we don't talk."
Harry and Taylor sparked dating rumors in November 2012 when they were seen together during "The X Factor" rehearsals. However, their fling did not last long as they reportedly went separate ways in January 2013.
