AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Stephen Colletti and Alex Weaver. More than one year after being in a romantic relationship with his girlfriend, the former "One Tree Hill" star proposed to the NASCAR host and reporter with a massive diamond ring during their trip to Italy.
On Wednesday, November 15, the 37-year-old actor and his 27-year-old now-fiance made use of Instagram to upload a series of photos from the engagement in a joint post. In one of the snaps, it could be seen that he presented her with a silver band that came with a sparkling huge oval-cut diamond.
Stephen and Alex also let out a PDA-filled picture from the special moment. The newly engaged couple was photographed sharing a sweet kiss while sitting down with a jaw-dropping view of Rome, Italy behind them. She was seen wrapping her arm around his shoulder and placing her hand on his face. In the meantime, he put one of his hands on her back. Along with the snaps, she simply penned, "Yes! Forever."
For the engagement, Stephen looked clean in a white tee and unbuttoned long-sleeved navy blue shirt. He also donned a pair of long black pants and black sneakers with matching laces. To complete the look, he added a pair of black sunglasses and a matching wrist watch.
Similarly, Alex opted to wear a casual ensemble, consisting of a pair of long black pants and a light blue sweater that came with white flower patterns all over it. She put on a pair of white-and-gray Adidas sneakers with black stripes as well as white laces. Her long blonde hair was let loose and styled into waves.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with congratulatory messages from Instagram users. Among them were Stephen's former "One Tree Hill" co-star Jana Kramer who voiced her excitement in the comments section, "AHHHHH !!!! Congrats!!!!!!!! So happy for you both." Another joined in, "The BEST ever. I'm so happy for you two cuties love yall," adding a white heart emoji.
Stephen and Alex went public with their romance back in August 2022. He uploaded a selfie of the two on his Instagram account. Along with the snap, he penned, "Magic hours are a bit more magical this year. @al_weave." Later on, Alex replied in the comments section of the post, "Luckiest girl."
