Sources with direct knowledge reveal that the TikTok star, who is gearing up for the launch of her family's new footwear brand, was working in West Hollywood when she felt faint.

AceShowbiz - Dixie D'Amelio had a health scare. The TikTok star was rushed to the hospital after nearly losing consciousness while working on Thursday, May 18 around 3 P.M. in West Hollywood, TMZ reported.

Sources with direct knowledge told the news outlet that the TikTok star was working when she felt faint. An ambulance was later called to take her to a hospital. Some photos obtained by the news outlet saw Dixie being taken to an ambulance.

The report claimed that Dixie received an IV with fluids as it turned out that she was dehydrated. Her condition obviously made the people around her become extremely concerned as the fire department was dispatched to Sunset Plaza for a possible seizure.

Thankfully, Dixie is now fine after receiving treatment. The star was still also up for the D'Amelio family's shoe launch later that night. On Snapchat, she posted a picture of herself with different monitors hooked up to her chest.

She then added a second selfie to respond to a question that read, "Are you okay?" The "Be Happy" singer appeared to downplay her health scare as she joked, "Got to be excited about the shoe lunch."

Dixie's sister Charli D'Amelio further gave update on Dixie's condition following the brief hospital scare. "She was just dehydrated, and she got some fluids. But she's gonna be at the D'Amelio Footwear launch tonight, so you will see her," she told Entertainment Tonight at the family's D'Amelio footwear launch on Thursday. "She is coming, she's just getting ready right now."

The sisters, alongside their mom Heidi, collaborated to create the footwear collection, along with designer Lauren DiCicco, who has worked with other celebrities such as Jessica Simpson. They offer a variety of styles and categories, such as sneakers, heels, boots and also sandals.

During an interview with L'Officiel to promote the footwear brand, Charli, Dixie and Heidi shared, "We have been extremely involved from the early inception of this project. Starting from the name to the designs and even down to the packaging. We wanted to ensure that the shoes were something we would wear, but that they were also really comfortable."

The trio added, 'It was also so important to us that we try to keep the quality, while producing the shoes at a lower price point so it's more attainable for our audience." When it came to differences in regards to creativity, they added, "We don't always agree, but that is the fun part of working together. It's fun to jokingly and constructively argue about our different styles and preferences, even down to the best colors."

"As a family, we've been really good at listening to each other's points of view, and we also value each other's input. There is a variety and mix of styles, so you can see each of our styles reflected in the shoes," they continued.
