AceShowbiz - Dixie D'Amelio has kept her promises to her fans. Having teased the "Someone to Blame" music video for days, the social media personality finally released the visuals on Thursday, July 28.

"Everyone needs someone to blame/ And this time, think it's gonna be me," the 20-year-old sings in a gloomy house. "Guess you need another villain for your story/ God knows without it, that s**t would be boring/ 'Cause everyone needs someone to blame/ So, I guess you can blame me."

Executed in partnership with Lightricks, the footage features some fan-submitted clips, which are shown in mirror reflections and in scenes Dixie is watching herself. The short clips themselves were edited using the "templates" on the Videoleap editing app.

"Someone to Blame" serves as one of the tracks off Dixie's debut album, "A Letter to Me". Speaking about the new record, Dixie said in an interview with V Magazine, "For the past two years I've put my head down and really focused on figuring out who I am as an artist and what I want to sound like. I've put in the work and I think this album really shows that." She added, "My growth as an artist has given me the confidence to have fun in the studio and try new ideas."

Asked about the "challenges" she faced while writing the track and another vulnerable song "Model", the older sister of Charli D'Amelio explained, "It used to be very hard for me to accurately depict how I was feeling through my music and my lyrics."

"But now, I think those challenges become less difficult," the influencer further elaborated. "I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to share the ups, the downs, and all the fun times in between."
