AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has scored a date invite after showing off her natural glow on social media. Treating her Instagram followers to new photos, the former Disney darling caught the attention of Max Ehrich, who didn't miss a chance to try asking her out.
On Monday, March 13, the 30-year-old singer/actress took to the photo-sharing platform to show her bare face as she went makeup-free in two selfies. She wore a black low cut tank top while letting her hair down naturally.
In one of the images, she playfully winked to the camera while posing on what seems to be a couch. She captioned it with, "Violet chemistry," which is a nod to a track on Miley Cyrus' eighth studio album "Endless Summer Vacation", which arrived on March 10.
Miley returned the favor by leaving a heart emoji in the comments section, as the likes of Paris Hilton and Whitney Simmons also showed their love to Selena's natural beauty. While Nina Dobrev, Amy Schumer, Blake Lively, Kesha (formerly Ke$ha), Jennifer Aniston, Emily Ratajkowski and Brooklyn Beckham hit the like button, Max surprisingly jumped in the comments to ask Selena out.
"Let's go on a date to see my new movie Southern Gospel this week," he brazenly wrote. The musical drama film, which also stars Emma Myers and Gary Weeks, has hit theaters in the U.S. since March 10.
It's unclear if Max was serious with the date offer or if he just wanted to promote his new movie, as Selena has not responded to his comment. Interestingly, the actor was previously in a relationship with one of the "Wolves" singer's friends, Demi Lovato.
Max and Demi had a whirlwind romance that began in March 2020. They became engaged in July of the same year, but called it off just two months later. He then moved on by dating singer Mariah Angeliq in November 2020.
