In remembrance of the 'Last Call' singer, her mother writes a lengthy heart-wrenching note, while her sisters pay individual tributes on their social media accounts.

AceShowbiz - Traci Braxton was being missed by her family. One year after the "Last Call" singer passed away, her mother and sisters made use of social media to remember her and express how they felt on the week of her death anniversary.

On Sunday, March 12, Braxton matriarch Evelyn Braxton took to Instagram a photo of them standing close to one another. Along with it, she wrote a lengthy heart-wrenching note that began, "Dearest Tray, Although you're not here not in the flesh, you are here in the spirit and in my mind and heart you will always be here."

"It's been a year now that you have been resting with the Lord I know that you're safe. I know you're leaning and perhaps enjoying your time with the Lord however, I miss you so so much," Evelyn continued. "I almost lost you twice as a baby but God said no! Yes, we had our ups and downs, as most people do, as moms, daughters and families share."

Evelyn went on to express her love for her late daughter. "I love you. I loved you more than you know at the end of your life and I held you in my arms and rocked your for the last time," she stated. "I was so grateful that God Allowed me to see you take your first breath and your Last. Grateful God had allowed me to be your mom and to be there with you, through the good, bad or indifferent."

Following the post, Evelyn shared a video of her family singing together. Accompanying the clip was a caption that read, "I absolutely love these precious moments like this. This reminds me of when they were kids and I would have them sing all the time. I love who they have all become. I am a very PROUD mommy. Look at God."

Joining Evelyn in remembering Traci were three of her sisters. Trina Braxton posted a photo montage of Traci to "celebrate" her. She wrote, "Today I chose to simply remember all of the happiness and Traci-ness that you have brought into my life, our families lives, and those around you. I love you. I remember you. I miss you."

Similar to Trina, Towanda Braxton let out a photo of Traci. In the caption, she noted, "I can't believe it's been a whole dam year. I absolutely miss your physical presence but I'm soooooo thankful I have memories and documented 'Traci-isms' to last more than a lifetime," and added "hummingbird" hashtag.

Presenting a similar-yet-different take was Toni Braxton, who chose to upload one of her favorite "sister pictures." Alongside the group photo, the "Un-Break My Heart" hitmaker admitted, "I can hardly believe it's been a year today." She added in the same caption, "I miss you so much!"

Meanwhile, Traci's other sister, Tamar Braxton, was not seen sharing any tribute on her one year death anniversary. Still, back in April 2022, Tamar revealed that she and her surviving sisters had a beautiful way in keeping Traci's memory alive.

The "Love and War" singer spilled during an appearance on "Dish Nation", "We, all the sisters, have a hummingbird locket, and it's a locket because her ashes are actually in it." She added, "We all have one and the reason being is because she wanted to go everywhere we went."

Traci passed away in March 2022 at the age of 50 after a private battle with esophageal cancer. Toni announced Traci's passing by writing on Instagram, "Traci passed this morning as the snow was falling, our angel is now a snowflake. We ask that you respect our privacy as we plan to send her home with love, celebrating her life. We are family forever."
