AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato gave her fans the fright of their lives when she was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles in July 2018. The actress/singer, who has always been open about she struggles with addiction, relapsed after six years of sobriety and overdosed on opioids. She was luckily found by her assistant and paramedics arrived just in time to save her.
The "Sober" songstress had multiple health complications stemming from the overdose, including multiple strokes, a heart attack and brain damage, the latter of which caused lasting vision problems. Still, she couldn't be more grateful to still make it to this day. "The doctors told me that I had five to 10 minutes, like, if no one had found me, then I wouldn't be here," she recalled after doctors saved her life.
