Social media users have since applauded the 'Still Think About You' emcee for showing some love to the late Philadelphia rapper during his gig in Connecticut.

AceShowbiz - A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is remembering his friend and past collaborator PnB Rock. The "Still Think About You" emcee pays moving tribute to the late Philadelphia rapper during his recent sold-out show.

On Sunday, December 18, the 27-year-old hip-hop star performed at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut. At one moment, he sang his and PnB Rock's collaboration "Lovin' ". Not stopping there, when the song was played, a photo of the late emcee, along with an angel halo above his head, was displayed on the big screens.

In a video shared by DJ Akademiks, Boogie could be heard telling the crowds, "Make some noise!" before his and PnB Rock's 2017 song was played. "Shawty, you been on my mind for so long/ That I ain't gone waste my time now that we're all alone," Boogie sings, "Girl, I'm so glad you're mine and you know/ That I'ma treat your body right from head to toe/ Cause it ain't nothing like lovin' you, lovin' you, lovin' you."

A bunch of social media users have since praised Boogie for his thoughtful gesture. "i haven't seen anybody do a pnb tribute til now," one person commented under DJ Ak's post, "he so real 4 this." Another applauded Boogie, "Only one I see showing Rock love," with someone else chiming in, "Shout out to him so many people from Philly didn't say s**t."

This wasn't the first time Boogie paid a touching tribute to PnB Rock. Earlier this month, Boogie added PnB Rock to the deluxe version of his new album "Me vs. Myself" with a collab titled "Needed That".

The new track, produced by Niaggi and Ricardo Josias, now appears as the opening track of the album, which features the likes of Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Tory Lanez, G-Herbo (Lil Herb), Roddy Ricch, H.E.R. and Don Q, on streaming services.

Boogie also intentionally released "Needed That" to celebrate what would have been PnB Rock's 31st birthday. Boogie turned to his Instagram feed to post a photo of the duo as well as a touching message that read, "Until we meet again, Forever in my heart is where I keep you friend. HBD BROSKII @pnbrock."

PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant on September 12. He was laid to rest in his hometown of Philadelphia in a Muslim funeral ceremony on September 21.

Three suspects, Freddie Lee Trone, his partner Shauntel Trone and their 17-year-old son, are currently in police custody. Freddie and his minor son were each charged with murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and second-degree robbery. Shauntel, in the meantime, was charged with accessory. Police are reportedly still looking for a fourth suspect who may have played an instrumental role in the murder.
