A now-viral video sees the Def Jam Recordings artist rubbing what appears to be the female fan's private area between her legs while he performs his hit 'Birthday Sex'.

AceShowbiz - Jeremih has landed in hot water over his racy stage act. The 35-year-old R&B artist has been accused by social media critics of inappropriately touching a female fan's sensitive area onstage.
On Saturday night, December 17, Jeremih performed at the "In My Feelz" festival, which also saw Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Sean Kingston taking the stage, at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
While performing his hit "Birthday Sex", Jeremih brought a female fan on stage. The Def Jam Recordings artist then lifted the woman with one hand and she wrapped her legs around his body. When the crooner let go of the woman from his arms, he was spotted touching the so-called private area between her legs.
After the moment was captured on video that has since viral on social media, social media critics quickly reacted to the hand move. "We saw that swiper [eyes emoji]," one Instagram user commented after the footage was shared by Hollywood Unlocked. "Oh, he definitely swiped," a second added. Another chimed in, "Oooop was that a cewchie swipe!?? Now wait a damn min."
Someone else wrote, "Not him sexually assaulting her on the way down smh." Others, meanwhile, suggested that the woman will sue him someday. "Uh this is sexual assault…#MeToo case loading," a separate user posted, with another weighing in, "All I see is a charge. Lawsuit by 6am tomorrow."
Another social media critic predicted, "she'll be in the blogs about a year from now saying how he 6exually assaulted her." Someone confidently remarked, "She gonna sue in a few years."
Others, meanwhile, likened Jeremih to R. Kelly, who's convicted of sexual assault. "He's acting R Kellyish," one person said, "These celebs just don't seem to leave these fans alone. That's how you get SA charges filed."
Earlier this year, R. Kelly was found guilty of three counts of producing child pornography and three counts of enticing a minor into criminal sexual activity. A jury found he sexually abused a 14-year-old girl on camera after she asked him to be her godfather in the 1990s and that he enticed two additional girls into criminal sexual activity.
As for now, the disgraced R&B star is being held at Chicago's Metropolitan Correctional Center. He is serving a 30-year prison sentence for a racketeering conviction in New York and faces sentencing in February over a case in Chicago.
