AceShowbiz - Lil Durk is reminded to live life to the fullest after he appeared to get into an accident. The 30-year-old rapper has shared a poignant message about savoring life after he hinted at surviving a terrible car crash.
On Sunday, December 18, Durkio posted on his Instagram page a photo of a vehicle flipped on its side. Two other images showed him getting in the TRX truck, seemingly taken before the terrifying car accident. In the caption, he wrote, "Live life Anyday can be your last SMURK."
The "Viral Moment" emcee didn't share details of the alleged car accident, but many have since expressed their relief that he apparently survived the incident. Praising God, someone wrote in the comment of Durk's post, "HE GOOD!" Swizz Beatz commented with a bunch of praying hands emojis, while a fan wrote, "So glad you ok bae."
Prior to this, Durk has declared his intention to change his ways and spread positive message in his music. In an interview with Rolling Stone published in November, he vowed that he will not speak on the dead anymore in any of his future rhymes.
"Even if you do 99 percent of s**t right, you still got 1 percent of the demons with you," he told the publication. "You get angry fast, and one reply can f**k up a billion dollars. That's why I'm not saying names no more [in my music]. I ain't speaking on the dead no more - none of that."
"I'm not chasing death no more," Durk said, as he's focused on earning generational wealth and giving a better life to his family. "I'm chasing a billion dollars. I want our kids to grow up safe and sound, to be able to have fun, to have a real life."
This was after Durk lost some of his closed ones in the last two years, including his protege King Von in November 2020 and his brother Dthang in June 2021. Both of them tragically lost their lives in shooting incidents.
