AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande continues to show off her platinum blonde hair to the world. The 29-year-old actress/pop star is rocking her blond tresses in a new commercial for her upcoming fragrance.
The "Thank U, Next" hitmaker, who recently debuted the lighter hairdo for her upcoming role as Glinda the Good Witch in the "Wicked" movie, released the ad on Sunday, November 20 via Instagram. The video featured her with her hair styled in two wavy pigtails with bangs.
Ariana went pink head-to-toe, wearing a retro-style crop top with a matching miniskirt as well as a bandana. "Introducing our first ever fragrance duo: Mod Vanilla and Mod Blush," so she captioned the post, noting the scents will be available at Ulta Beauty on Thursday, December 1.
In the comment section of the ad, her proud mom Joan Grande gushed over her vintage look, "soooo exciting!!!! and this video… you are stunning!!!" Her "Wicked" co-star Cynthia Erivo added, "We love!!!! [red heart emoji]."
The new video came just two weeks after the "Positions" singer teased her Glinda the Good Witch transformation for the film adaptation of the iconic Broadway musical. "New earrings," the pop star captioned an Instagram photo, which featured her platinum locks styled in a chic ponytail.
Ariana has been cast to portray the role of Glinda in "Wicked", which will be split into two separate parts, one released in 2024, and the other half the following year. "Bridgerton" star Jonathan Bailey has also been cast to play the character of Fiyero.
As she's busy "spending all of [her] time with Glinda," Ariana previously clarified that she won't be releasing new music until she finishes filming the musical movie. "I feel like I want to have a little bit of transparency and honesty with my fans. The truth is, I have not begun an album," she told her fans about her decision in a video posted on her makeup line R.E.M. Beauty's YouTube channel.
Ariana further pointed out that after releasing "positions," she was "not ready" to restart the process. "I hear through the grapevine that you have a lot of theories and expectations in that department. But after 'positions', [I] was not ready to start another album yet, so I have not begun another album," she explained.
Interestingly, in September, Kali Uchis revealed that she and Ariana will be hitting the recording studio together for a collaboration soon after the pop star is "done" with her movie. "She's not recording right now," the "telepatia" hitmaker explained, "Because working on her movie stuff; her play that she's doing… She said that when she's done with that, we are going to work."
