AceShowbiz - Following a loving shout-out on social media, Stephen Curry (II) and BTS' (Bangtan Boys) member Suga finally met in person in Japan. The two of the brightest stars in the world encountered each other on Thursday, September 29 when Suga welcomed the Golden State Warriors player ahead of the team's preseason games in the country.
During their meeting, Suga gifted Steph a signed BTS album as he also received Steph's iconic No. 30 jersey with a special message on it. "To Suga," so the four-time NBA champ wrote alongside his signature. In addition to Steph, the "Butter" hitmaker took some pictures with players like Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.
Sharing snaps from the brief meeting on Instagram was Steph. "An honor meeting you SUGA!! Welcome to #DubNation," he captioned the pictures.
Prior to this, Steph applauded Suga on social media for repping the Warriors' jersey. "Love the jersey SUGA!! See you soon [plane emoji]," so the NBA star responded to the K-Pop star sharing a picture of him showing off his Warriors jersey with No. 3 written on the back. Steph also reposted Suga's Instagram post of the same picture. "Let's gooooooo SUGA!!" he wrote over the snap.
That aside, the star players on the Golden State Warriors also virtually met NCT's member Yuta who welcomed the team to Japan in a clip. In the video shared by the team's official YouTube channel, the "2 Baddies" singer, who is originated from Japan, asked them a series of questions.
In the video, Stephen revealed that he has been to Japan twice. When asked about his experience in the country, he explained, "Really enjoyed the experience, the people were amazing, the city was amazing, I got to see some of the sights. He also noted that he likes all Japanese food and that "can't wait to go get some authentic Tokyo sushi."
