AceShowbiz - Julia Roberts is celebrating her 19th wedding anniversary with Daniel Moder. Marking the special day, the "Pretty Woman" star shared a sweet never-before-seen photo with her husband on her social media account.
On Sunday, July 4, the 53-year-old actress turned to her Instagram page to post a selfie of her and Daniel snuggling up to each other on the beach. The snap saw the "Notting Hill" actress smiling at the camera while wearing a floral printed shirt, black sunglasses and an orange cap with a figure of chicken on it. On the other hand, her 53-year-old husband appeared to go shirtless and covered his body with a white cloth.
"19 years," Julia captioned her celebratory post. Showing off that she is still head-over-heels for Daniel after nearly two decades of marriage, the Academy Award-winning actress added, "Just getting started! #conwings."
Julia's post has since received warm responses from her celebrity pals. Happily married Rita Wilson and Sam Taylor-Johnson could be seen leaving comments. "Happy happy anniversary! Gotta celebrate big on 20th!" the "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" star wrote. On the other hand, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress left some red heart love emojis.
Julia and Daniel met on the set of her film "The Mexican" in 2000. Two years later, the two tied the knot in a small ceremony at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico. The couple shares three children, 12-year-old twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus "Finn" Walter and 14-year-old son Henry Daniel.
Back in 2018, Julia opened up about her marriage when speaking on Gwyneth Paltrow's "Goop" podcast. "It just gets deeper, it just gets more complex," she said. "You're young and you fall in love and go, 'Oh, yeah, we're going to get married and we're going to build a house and will have kids.' "
"And all these things that we all kind of dream of, but you don't know if you're going to like the same couch, and you don't know if he is going to want to get, like, patterned towels," Emma Roberts' aunt added. "Then, of course, the bigger ones are, will you parent in a way that has balance to it, that holds hands in philosophy?"
"You just don't know these things until you are right there doing it, and we are so fortunate that there is some kind of inexplicable harmony to the way we do things, because we do things differently .... but there's something together that makes all the sense in the world," she concluded. "The best decision I ever made in my entire life was to hitch my wagon to Danny Moder."
