Julia Roberts' husband had a special treat for his fans to mark their son's latest milestone. To celebrate Henry's 14th birthday, Danny Moder took to social media to share a rare video of the teenager skateboarding.
The 53-year-old dad posted the clip in question on Instagram on June 18. In the accompaniment of the post, he simply wrote, "Turning 14…. turning in the air…summers turn. Ya Henry."
Many of Danny's followers were quick to send birthday wishes to Henry. One user in particular raved, "Whoaaah!! With the air !! Happy birthday HEN Dawg !!" Another gushed, "Happy Birthday Henry!!" A third echoed, "Happy 14th Birthday Henry!"
This was not the first time Danny gave fans a look at Henry. In early May, the Emmy-nominated cinematographer posted a clip of the young boy skateboarding on an empty road. He captioned it, "Morning commute."
Danny and Julia tied the knot in 2002. In addition to Henry, the married couple is also parents to 16-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus.
Back in 2018, Julia opened up about her marriage when speaking on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop podcast. "It just gets deeper, it just gets more complex," she said. "You're young and you fall in love and go, 'Oh, yeah, we're going to get married and we're going to build a house and will have kids.' "
"And all these things that we all kind of dream of, but you don't know if you're going to like the same couch, and you don't know if he is going to want to get, like, patterned towels," Emma Roberts' aunt added. "Then, of course, the bigger ones are, will you parent in a way that has balance to it, that holds hands in philosophy?"
"You just don't know these things until you are right there doing it, and we are so fortunate that there is some kind of inexplicable harmony to the way we do things, because we do things differently .... but there's something together that makes all the sense in the world," she concluded. "The best decision I ever made in my entire life was to hitch my wagon to Danny Moder."
