AceShowbiz - "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star A1 Bentley gets in trouble with the law. The reality TV star and his label Sound Entertainment reportedly were accused of fraud by an artist named Carley Marie Masten and his father Jeffrey Masten.

According the court documents obtained by The Blast, A1 was said to have commited a breach of contract, fraud, intentional misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation and conversation.

Jeffrey claimed that A1 was initially "a music producer with a reputation as a credible professional with hit songs to his name and was seen as an establish star in the entertainment industry. Defendant Bentley's credits include songs with renowned artists of the likes of Usher, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa and G-Eazy." However, he said that A1 then "quickly transitioned from star producer to one who began to lose his luster and become so desperate to make money he no longer cares about doing quality work."

He went on accusing A1 of "stealing money from inexperienced people hoping to get into the music industry (as the Plaintiffs both were when they met Defendant Bentley)."

It was said that A1 "induced' Carlie, who goes by the name C'Marie, to sign a producer contract pay a total of $376,000. He promised that he would produce, write and record songs for her, "promote and develop her career" in addition to helping her to get a record deal.

C'Marie claimed that her dad spent his "life savings" in hopes his daughter would achieve her dreams. However, the VH1 personality allegedly crushed her dream as he never finished her album and did not complete the 3 videos unlike what he promised. He also did not promote her music on the radio.

C'Marie and her dad are suing A1 for the return of $376,400 paid to A1 plus $1.5 million in punitive damages.
