AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams has shared a gloomy prediction on Kate Beckinsale's alleged new romance with Goody Grace. Having dealt with divorce herself, the outspoken TV personality said she can relate with Kate, who separated from her husband Len Wiseman in 2015, but thinks that jumping into the arms of one toyboy to another is not the right thing to do.

The 55-year-old author weighed in on Kate's love life in the Thursday, April 16 episode of her online talk show. "She's got a young boyfriend fever. I get it, when you're single that's one of the first things you do - grab a youngin'," Wendy said from her experience.

But she cannot approve of Kate dating 22-year-old Goody, who is only one year old than the actress' 21-year-old daughter Lily Mo Sheen from her relationship with former partner Michael Sheen. "I'm not down with this," she said of the rumored new couple.

Talking about her own experience, Wendy shared, "In the beginning of being single you do all kinds of things, believe me I know. But then, you settle into your singleness with your cats, your Cynthia, and your hummus."

As for Kate's decision to date a much-younger guy, Wendy thinks that it will not end up well. "Eventually it's going to come back to bite her in the behind. I'm just saying, mother to mother. You already had Pete Davidson," the TV host said, referencing to Kate's previous doomed romance with the 26-year-old comedian.

Wendy went on advising Kate, "It's been 4 years [since your split]... you're 46 and gorgeous. It's time to get on the good foot and date age appropriate."

Kate and Len separated in 2015, but their divorce was only finalized in November 2019. Earlier in the same year, the "Pearl Harbor" star was romantically linked to Pete, but they called it quits in April after only four months together. She recently sparked romance rumors with Goody, a singer, after they were spotted holding hands while hiking together in Los Angeles over the Easter weekend.
