AceShowbiz - Fabolous has reportedly split from his longtime girlfriend Emily B and it apparently didn't take much time for him to move on. The rapper, whose real name is John David Jackson, and the shoe designer had been together through thick and thin for over a decade. But according to TMZ, the pair recently called it quits.
Instead of crying over the end of his long-term relationship, sources close to the "Can't Let You Go" hitmaker say that he has been actively dating other people. Last week, the 41-year-old hip-hop star was spotted having a lunch date with a mystery woman at a Mexican restaurant in New Jersey. In a picture obtained by the site, the two sat across the table from each other and devoured their foods, though they didn't show any PDA.
Fabolous and Emily Bustamante had been dating for over a decade. They have two children together. Their oldest son was born in 2008 and their second son was born in 2015.
Just a few days ago, the rumored exes shared pictures on their respective Instagram pages, hinting that they're on a vacation together. Fabolous posted a photo of him sipping a drink near a pool in the Bahamas, while Emily shared her photos on the same Caribbean island with the backdrop of the beautiful blue ocean.
It's unclear what caused the alleged breakup, but the two's relationship hit a sour note last year. In March 2018, Fabolous was arrested following a physical altercation with Emily. In October of the same year, he was indicted on "one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of possession of a weapon" in relation to the March incident. He struck a plea deal and avoided jail time, as the couple reportedly patched things up at the time.
