The newly-released clip, which is unveiled by Ryan Murphy, further gives a look at Gus Kenworthy's character as well as the character portrayed by 'Pose' star Angelica Ross.

AceShowbiz - The first look at "American Horror Story: 1984" is finally here. Released through Ryan Murphy's Instagram account, the clip introduces the characters who will be featured in upcoming season 9 of FX's anthology series.
The teaser opens with an ominious figure opening the door of what appears to be some sort of cabin before 1984 hit "I Can Dream About You " by Dan Hartman plays in the background. Later, Emma Roberts' character is making an entrance, before she is joined by the characters played by fellow returning Cody Fern and Billie Lourd.
The clip further gives a look at Gus Kenworthy's character, who is said to be the boyfriend of Emma's character, as well as the character portrayed by "Pose" star Angelica Ross. Additionally, the new video sees a surprise appearance of "Glee" alum Matthew Morrison who is making an entrance into the summer camp bunk in tight gym shorts. He can be seen walking straight to the camera before proudly flaunting her manhood.
Ryan also unveils several individual footage for each characters. "To celebrate the first day of filming the NINTH Season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, here's the official 1984 cast announcement along with some amazing 80s lewks. Enjoy!" he captions the post.
Little is known about the upcoming season of "AHS" except that the theme is '80s slasher films. Fans speculate that it will be following notorious serial killer Richard Ramirez, who was an active serial killer in the California area from June 1984 until August 1985.
Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who have been appeared in every season of "AHS" so far, decided to sit this season out. "It's just exhausting. It's really mentally draining, and you don't want to go to those places ever in your life," Peters previously said of his work on the series. "And so, you have to go there for the scenes, and it ends up integrating it somehow into your life. You're in traffic and you find yourself screaming and you're like, 'What the hell? This isn't who I am.' "
"American Horror Story: 1984" will premiere on September 18 on FX.
