Lady GaGa Steps Out in Outlandish Outfit for Pre-Met Gala Dinner

The 'A Star Is Born' actress already goes big for the pre-Met Gala dinner in New York City, wearing a black-and-white striped dress with layered ruffles paired with an over-the-top black fascinator.

AceShowbiz - Before the star-studded Met Gala, Lady GaGa already caught attention with her outlandish style at Anna Wintour's pre-Met Gala party on Sunday night, May 5. Making sure all eyes on her, the "Born This Way" singer stepped out in New York City in a quirky dress.

The 33-year-old singer/actress wore a short Marc Jacobs 2019 Fall runway black-and-white striped dress with layered ruffles. She teamed it with an over-the-top black vertical fascinator and black platform boots with black stockings.

To keep up with her eccentric look, GaGa sported baby blue eyeshadow and a pale pink shade of lipstick. She carried a tiny black leather handbag covered in floral designs while she kept her accessories to minimum, wearing only a pair of diamond earrings.

Sharing pictures of her look that night, the "American Horror Story: Hotel" star wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, "Met Gala countdown #fashion #metgala #camp #ladygaga."

The pre-gala party hosted by the Vogue editor-in-chief was held at 172 Sullivan Street. Harry Styles, Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, Rita Ora, Gwyneth Paltrow, Janelle Monae, James Corden and his wife, Elle Fanning and Sienna Miller were among other guests seen at the party.

Prior to the Sunday event, GaGa shared pictures of her flying to New York in a private jet. The Oscar-nominated actress kept it stylish in a Marc Jacobs maxi dress with printed design, paired with black boots. Lifting one of her legs, she showed off her unshaven leg.
