AceShowbiz - All members of the Jonas Brothers are now married men. Just hours after the group attended the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner tied the knot in a surprise ceremony on Wednesday, May 1.

Diplo, who was invited to the ceremony, was the first one to break the news, sharing on Instagram Stories several videos taken from the nuptials. In one clip, the "Game of Thrones" actress could be see entering a local wedding chapel in a white dress as her singer fiance was dressed in suit. "Gonna hit up this wedding real quick," the DJ said on the clip.

In another video, Sophie added a veil to her look as the couple exchanged vows to one another in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator, who acted as the officiant. He donned a red suit with classic aviator glasses. Besides Diplo, Khalid was seen among the guests along with some other attendees at the Billboard Music Awards. The record producer additionally provided the music during the ceremony, while country duo Dan + Shay performed "Speechless".

According to multiple reports, Sophie and Joe obtained their marriage license earlier in the day.

While fans already knew that the couple, who got engaged in October 2017, was going to tie the knot this year, they were expecting that it would happen in summer like what Joe previously said. Stopping by "The Late Late Show with James Corden" back in March, the DNCE frontman said, "We're going to have a flag rugby game at the wedding, and a flag football game. So if all the groomsmen show up with black eyes and broken arms, I'll be very proud."

Joe also jokingly said that he didn't want to hold multiple wedding ceremonies like what Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra did. "All 18 of Nick's was absolutely amazing," he said at the time. "I would say, stick to one. One and done."
