The Top 14 of season 17 hit the stages before 7 of them will be sent to the next round, while the rest are battling for the available 3 spots for the Top 10.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" season 17 had its Top 14 hitting the stage for America's votes for the first time. Kicking off the night was Laine Hardy, who returned to the ABC singing competition after competing in season 16.

He opted to sing Elvis Presley's "That's All Right" that night while looking awesome in a glittery suit jacket. The judges loved it, though Luke Bryan asked him to get a little looser while performing.

Following Laine's performance, Evelyn Cormier took the stage to sing "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World. Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke couldn't help but rave about her stunning performance and her decision to always take risks with her performances. Up next was Alyssa Raghu, who belted out Sara Bareilles' "She Used to Be Mine". Lionel said that she was on "fire" with Katy admitting that she's a "huge fan."

Eddie Island followed it up with a performance of "Bennie and the Jets" by Elton John. While it was good, Katy reminded him not to overdo his stage presence. Riley Thompson, meanwhile, chose to sing "Suds in the Bucket" by Sara Evans to earn America's votes. As usual, the judges were blown away with her performance considering that she's only 16.

Performing "Trouble" by Ray LaMontange was Wade Cota. In addition to showcasing his amazing set of pipes, Wade proved that he had full range of talent by playing guitar for the performance. He arned a standing ovation from the judges. As for Dimitrius Graham, he sang a rendition of Ed Sheeran's "Perfect", driving the crowd crazy as he put his own spin to the song.

Madison VanDenburg received another rave comment after hitting the stage to sing a rendition of "Fallin' " by Alicia Keys. Next up was Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, who brought Katy to tears with his performance of Elton John's "We All Fall in Love Sometimes".

Uche, on the other hand, took the stage to sing "Finesse" by Bruno Mars. He didn't only show off his vocals but also his incredible dance moves, much to everyone's liking. Alejandro Aranda showed something new as he performed "One Dance" by Drake before Ashley Hess hit the stage to sing a rendition of "Fix You" by Coldplay.

Laci Kaye Booth put her own spin on "I Miss You" by Blink-182 that blew both the judges and the crowds away. Rounding out the night was Walker Burroughs, who sang "Climb Every Mountain" from "The Sound of Music", earning loud cheers from the audience.

America will be voting for their favorites before the Top 7 will be revealed in Monday, April 15 episode. Later, the judges will decide three contestants who will be joining the Top 7, forming the Top 10 who move to the next round.
