McConaughey's Moondog is arrested by cops and gets a stern warning from a judge as he's at risk of going to jail for his 'foolishness.'

AceShowbiz - Matthew McConaughey's Moondog can't escape the cops in a new red band trailer for Harmony Korine's "The Beach Bum". After the previously-released trailers highlighted his careless attitude and rebellious lifestyle, the latest sneak peek hints at the consequence that he may face for his antics.
The eccentric poet is arrested by police, apparently not just once, as a judge warns him that the next time he's caught with his "foolishness" again, he may face jail time. He appears to be stunned, but it doesn't stop him from going crazy altogether.
He's seen drinking while driving a motorboat, getting high on a plane and shooting at an unknown object. Earlier in the video, he is kissing Isla Fisher's Minnie, playing golf with Jonah Hill's Lewis, dancing on the street and wearing a bizarre mask. He is also seen hanging out with Zac Efron's Flicker in the latter part of the trailer.
From Korine, the director that brought "Spring Breakers" to the big screen in 2013, "The Beach Bum" follows the outrageous misadventures of Moondog, a rebellious burnout who only knows how to live life by his own rules. Snoop Dogg, Martin Lawrence and legendary singer Jimmy Buffett are also starring in the movie.
Korine previously described the movie as "a wild, audacious ride." He writes the flick, with Charles-Marie Anthonioz, Mourad Belkeddar, Steve Golin, John Lesher and Nicholas Lhermitte serving as producers.
The drama comedy will have its world premiere at South by Southwest in March, before being released on March 29 in the U.S. by Neon.
"The Beach Bum" is another movie starring McConaughey that hits theaters this year. The Academy Award-winning actor also stars in Steven Knight's sexy drama thriller "Serenity (2019)", which is due out January 25. McConaughey stars alongside Anne Hathaway in the pic.
