Matthew shared that his 'The Beach Bum' co-star once pranked him on the set by swapping prop weed for his own potent brand.

AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg swapped Matthew McConaughey's "prop" marijuana for the real deal on the set of "The Beach Bum".

The hip-hop star makes an appearance as the character of Lingerie in the upcoming comedy film written and directed by Harmony Korine, with Matthew taking on the lead character of Moondog.

During an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Monday night (May 21), Matthew shared that Snoop enjoyed playing pranks on the set, and even tricked him into smoking marijuana at one point.

"It was fun the entire time. He Snooped me," the Oscar-winning actor said. "There's a scene where I'm going to Snoop, I've got writer's block and Snoop has the magic weed. But I go to Snoop and the prop man to make sure I've got the prop weed, it's crushed oregano and stuff. We get into the scene, a six-minute scene, it's back and forth and then he goes, 'Yo Moondog, that ain't prop weed, that's Snoop weed.' And I went 'Oh, you son of a gun.' And the next nine hours were a lot of fun but I don't believe he used one word in the English language."

Plot details for "The Beach Bum" remain under wraps, but the film also stars Isla Fisher, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill and Martin Lawrence. And Matthew claimed that he's never had so much fun on a film set.

"It was a blast, I can't believe I got paid for that one," the 48-year-old laughed.
