AceShowbiz - Further details regarding Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's plan to have baby through a surrogate have emerged online. A source close to the "Hollaback Girl" songstress discloses to HollywoodLife.com about her reason why she agrees to the idea of hiring surrogate for her first child with her country singer boyfriend.

It appears the biggest reason behind her decision is because she is "open to doing anything to make him feel happy, complete and satisfied." Thus according to the source, when she learns that Blake has always dreamed about having his own baby, she "wants to help give the baby" and make "his fatherhood dreams come true."

"Gwen knows how wonderful becoming a parent is, and she would love for Blake to share in that experience," the insider goes on saying.

However, considering that she is no longer young, Gwen allegedly believes that getting pregnant herself may be too dangerous for her. "Gwen knows that with her age, a pregnancy might be challenging so she has given surrogacy serious consideration," the source explains. "They discuss their plans for the future all the time and after watching other friends go through the process, surrogacy is something they both are seriously considering."

Another source previously explained that the couple is already in "the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby. It's extremely important to Gwen that she give Blake a biological child, and Blake is so excited." The No Doubt singer allegedly has yet to determine whether she wants a baby boy or baby girl. But given that she already has three sons from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale, it's likely that she wants to give her boys a little sister.
