'Teen Mom' Star Ryan Edwards Is Arrested on Heroin Charge After Wife's Pregnancy News

The 30-year-old was busted on Tuesday, March 27 by Red Bank Police Department at his house in Tennessee when cops executed a warrant for violating probation.

AceShowbiz - It seems like Ryan Edwards is ruining the mood in his little family. Just one day after his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, announced her first pregnancy, the "Teen Mom" star was arrested on heroin-related charge on Tuesday, March 27.

The 30-year-old was busted by Red Bank Police Department at his house in Tennessee, according to Law enforcement sources. According to a local docket of recent bookings, his charge was listed as "petition to revoke (simple possession of heroin)."

"It was related to his charge last year before he went to rehab," a source told E! News of the supposedly-sober reality TV star. "This is not anything new. It's not a new arrest for heroin. That was his original charge last April."

TMZ reported that Ryan was booked when police executed a warrant for violating probation.

Ryan was "held on $5,000 bond," according to a spokesperson for Hamilton County Jail. The spokesperson continued telling Radar Online, "He was bonded out at 10:15 P.M."

As MTV declined to comment, it remains to be seen whether Ryan's arrest will be featured on "Teen Mom".

The arrest came in less than 24 hours after a "Teen Mom" preview, which showed 21-year-old Mackenzie announcing her pregnancy, was released on Monday night. The next day, the same day Ryan was arrested, Mackenzie revealed to E! News that Ryan was "so excited" about her pregnancy.

Ryan, who shares 9-year-old son Bentley with ex Maci Bookout, secretly married Mackenzie back in May 2017 while being under influence. MTV cameras captured him slurring his speech and even falling asleep at the wheel on his way to his nuptials. The wedding took place before he went to rehab following news of substance abuse allegations against him.
