AceShowbiz - It's only November, but the list of most-liked Instagram posts in 2017 has already come out. Topping the list was Beyonce Knowles's February post where she was announcing she was pregnant with twins. Bey took over the title from Selena Gomez who topped last year's list with a photo of her gazing into the camera while sipping Coca-Cola.
As noted by The Verge, Bey's pregnancy announcement has amassed over 11.1 million likes. The said photo showed the "Formation" hitmaker sitting in a bed of flowers with a colorful, floral wreath as the background while baring her baby bump. She announced in the caption, "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."
Trailing behind Bey with the second most-liked photo was soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, who shared a photo of his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez from her hospital bed after she gave birth to their baby girl, Eva. The 32-year-old athlete posted the pic only two weeks ago and it's already received more than 11 million likes. It's very likely the post will usurp Beyonce's pregnancy announcement for the top spot before the year's end.
Selena took the third spot with her kidney transplant picture, which she posted in mid-September and has since earned over 10 million likes. Though she failed to repeat her victory after losing to Bey, the "Wolves" songstress had four other Instagram posts in the top 10 that also included one featuring her and then-boyfriend The Weeknd in an embrace. Additionally, she maintains her spot as the most-followed celebrity on the social media with 130 million followers
The fourth spot was owned by Bey with a majestic photo of her cradling her adorable newborn twins, Sir and Rumi, whom she shares with rapper husband Jay-Z. Showing the former Destiny's Child star standing in front of flowers again with her then-1-month-old twins in her arms, the photo was shared in July and has since received more than 10 million likes.
The fifth place was Cristiano's photo featuring him holding his twins which has more than 8 million likes. The Real Madrid player made up the top 10 with a family photo of him with his then-pregnant girlfriend, his twins and his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
