Tonight may be the best night for Millie Bobby Brown. The young actress who played Eleven on Netflix's hit "Stranger Things" couldn't stop her tears while accepting her first Golden Popcorn after Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario announced her as the winner for Best Actor in a Series at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards Sunday evening, May 7.

The whole "Stranger Things" cast members couldn't hide their excitement as well as Millie's name was announced as the winner of the prize, besting Donald Glover ("Atlanta"), Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones"), Gina Rodriguez ("Jane the Virgin") and Mandy Moore ("This Is Us"). Millie, who looked stunning in a white dress, was surprised when she learned that the trophy was so heavy before opening her speech. "First of all, I want to thank everyone who voted and especially MTV," she said through tears. She continued thanking the cast and crew of "Stranger Things" who she dubbed her "second family."

"I want to thank Shawn Levy for being one of the best directors I've ever had the pleasure working with," the 13-year-old actress said, before adding, "Shawn, everything you've taught me, I will carry on for the rest of my career." Lastly, she thanked the show's creators, the Duffer brothers, for creating "a bada** female iconic character" that she had "got the honor to play."

Millie stars as Eleven, a socially stunted young girl who gained telekinetic powers from a very questionable governmental research program, on the sci-fi series set in the 80s. "Stranger Things" season 2 is set to arrive this year on Netflix.
