Beyonce Knowles sets an Instagram record with her pregnancy announcement. The picture she shared on Wednesday, February 1 to announce that she's expecting twins has become the most-liked Instagram post, with more than 7 million likes in less than 24 hours since it was posted.
Beyonce dethrones Selena Gomez who previously held the title with her sultry Coca-Cola picture, which has garnered 6.3 million likes so far. The 24-year-old singer/actress posted the image in June last year. Selena, however, still holds the title of the most-followed Instagram user in the world.
Beyonce surprised everyone with her pregnancy announcement. "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes," so she wrote alongside the picture showing her cradling her bare baby bump.
The twins will be Bey and Jay-Z's second and third child, joining big sister Blue Ivy Carter. The couple has since received a lot of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities.
