Behati Prinsloo is returning to the Victoria's Secret runway, but not this year. The new mother has to miss the forthcoming event which will be taped this week, but she's already announced that she will join the lingerie brand's other models in 2017.
Prinsloo, who welcomed her and husband Adam Levine's first child Dusty Rose two months ago, revealed the news in an Instagram post shared on Sunday, November 27 along with a throwback photo of her walking on the catwalk in sexy golden lingerie paired with wings and knee-high boots of the same color.
In the caption, she also reflected on her nine years as a Victoria's Secret Angel and showed support for her fellow models who jetted off to Paris that day. "Opening the#vsfashionshow for the first time was a dream come true opening twice in a row was just NUTS, still pinching myself," she wrote.
"To the girls and crew, good luck in Paris, me and Dusty Rose will be cheering. I know the blood sweat and tears that goes into the making of this show and also being in it, this would have been my 10th year. I can't believe it," she continued. "Love you all, have fun in Paris and see you next year!!!!"
The Victoria's Secret show is airing on Monday, December 5 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS. The likes of Kendall Jenner, Lily Aldridge, Lily Donaldson, Martha Hunt, Adriana Lima, Elsa Hosk and Alessandra Ambrosio all flew to Paris on Sunday and shared on their social media accounts a bunch of pictures taken before they boarded the plane and during the flight.
Joining the ladies were Bella Hadid, who will make her first appearance on the VS runway, as well as Jasmine Tookes, who will get the honor to model the brand's $3 million fantasy bra.
