AceShowbiz - John Legend is a new fan of "This Is Us". The "Love on the Weekend" singer took to Twitter on Friday, November 25 to express his admiration after watching the first episode of Mandy Moore's new NBC series.
"Just saw the first episode of 'This is Us' and I'm hooked. Cryin' and hooked," John tweeted, "Not even wiping away tears for the next episodes. Just gonna let the first ones create tracks for a more even, efficient flow. I took in a ton of calories but in a short period of time, and I feel like that's gotta be good for something. Right?"
Mandy then wrote to John, "Glad you're digging it, @JohnMayer." The "Your Body Is a Wonderland" hitmaker replied, "Beyond dig, @TheMandyMoore. I'm about to attempt one of the most emotionally reckless stunts ever: watching an episode ON AN AIRPLANE."
Created by Dan Fogelman, "This Is Us" also stars Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley and "Gilmore Girls" alum Milo Ventimiglia. In just a few short episodes, the series has gotten rave reviews from fans and critics alike. It also earned People's Choice Award and Critics' Choice Television Award nominations.
