The 'Touch My Body' singer tells Ellen DeGeneres that she's 'doing well' after calling off her engagement as she finds it hard to talk about it.

Mariah Carey briefly talked about her recent separation from fiance James Packer. The newly-single diva was quizzed by Ellen DeGeneres about her split from the Australian businessman during her visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".
"You had a highly publicized relationship and you were engaged and you were trying on wedding dresses in the docu-series, we see the behind the scenes of that, which is pretty personal. And now you're not together anymore," Ellen said.
"Now it's a whole friggin' thing," the singer interjected. When asked how she was doing, she replied, "I think I'm doing well ... Everything happens for a reason. Things are the way they are." She then changed the topic, "It's kind of difficult to talk about it at this moment, so I'm just going to compliment you on these decorations once again."
