Goodbye is never easy. Just like her other "Pretty Little Liars" co-stars, Shay Mitchell has just experienced this emotional moment in her life as they wrapped up the filming of the series finale last week.

To say goodbye to the show she has starred on and to everyone she has worked with for the past seven years, Mitchell has posted on her YouTube page a video of her reading a "PLL" farewell letter. The video opens with behind-the-scenes moment after they filmed their last scene.

She sits in front of the camera and begins saying, "Sad, anxious, excited, terrified, inspired, gratified, nervous, unsure, proud, upset, accomplished, relieved, devastated, lucky: I didn't know it was possible to feel so much at once, yet I sit here with all my feelings. It feels like the last day of school with just an extra bit of emptiness."

Tears are rolling down her face as she continues to express her feelings and her gratitude to be part of the show. "I don't know what my life would've looked like without 'Pretty Little Liars'," she says. To her "sisters" and co-stars Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Sasha Pieterse, she says, "We did it. We managed to stay close through seven years of high school. And that will always be what I'm most proud of. ... And I will miss you all madly."

The "PLL" girls, including Janel Parrish, recently got matching tattoos of their character names' initial on their "shh" finger. They also got matching rings from the series creator, I. Marlene King.

The second half of "Pretty Little Liars" seventh and final season premieres in April 2017 on Freeform. Bellisario, Benson, Hale, Mitchell, Pieterse as well as executive producer King are set to appear in a one-hour "tell-all" special that will air after the two-hour series finale.
