Teen Choice Awards 2016: 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Teen Wolf' Are Big TV Winners

'Liars' dominates the winner list with a total of five awards, while the MTV supernatural drama series and ABC's 'Once Upon a Time' bag three surfboards each.

AceShowbiz - "Pretty Little Liars" is still a favorite TV show among teen viewers. The Freeform hit series has come out as the biggest winner in TV field at this year's Teen Choice Awards, after dominating the winner list last year.

The show bagged a total of six awards at the Sunday, July 31 ceremony. In addition to winning Choice TV Show: Drama, it helped its stars %cIan Harding% and %cAshley Benson% score a win in Choice TV Actor/Actress: Drama categories.

%cJanel Parrish% was named Choice TV Villain and %cSasha Pieterse% won Choice TV: Scene Stealer. %cAshley Benson% and %cTyler Blackburn%'s on-screen relationship earned them Choice TV: Chemistry.

"Thank you. This is awesome," Benson said when receiving the surfboard for Choice TV Show: Drama with her co-stars. "It's been a crazy ride, seven years. Thank you for voting. Without you guys, we wouldn't be having an amazing, successful TV show for the last seven years. We love you guys!"

"Teen Wolf" and "Once Upon a Time" followed with three awards each. The former was voted as Choice Summer TV Show. Its star %cDylan O'Brien% was named Choice Summer TV Actor though he didn't attend the event, and his co-star %cShelley Hennig% won Choice Summer TV Actress.

"OUAT" was named Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy. %cLana Parrilla% won in Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy category, while %cJennifer Morrison% and %cColin O'Donoghue%'s on-screen kiss was chosen as Choice TV: Liplock.

"Fuller House" grabbed two for Choice TV Show: Comedy and Choice TV Actress: Comedy (%cCandace Cameron% Bure). "Shadowhunters" also collected multiple surfboards (Choice TV: Breakout Show and Choice TV: Breakout Star for %cMatthew Daddario%).

"The Flash" star %cGrant Gustin%, "Family Guy", "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and %cRoss Lynch% of "Austin & Ally" were among other winners. On the other hand, "The Vampire Diaries" which was one of the biggest TV winners last year and received multiple nominations this year came home empty handed.
