AceShowbiz - Tracy Morgan was back on stage cracking jokes more than a year after a hiatus following a car crash. It marked his first stand-up comedy appearance since he was seriously injured in a fatal car accident that killed his friend James McNair back in June 2014.
He made a surprise appearance at Comedy Cellar and The Stand in New York. "My first time on stage in 16 Months at the #ComedyCellar! Picking up the pieces!" he tweeted. The Stand, meanwhile, wrote, "What an honor having @RealTracyMorgan back on our stage tonight!"

According to Refinery29, Morgan, 46, poked fun at himself while on stage at the Cellar. He reportedly coughed and said, "That's because of the accident," seemingly referring to the speech therapy he underwent after the car crash last year.
