Miley Cyrus won't stop living her life and to be proud of who she really is, and she encouraged people to do the same. In a recent interview with Instagram, the #InstaPride founder talked about the importance of living out and proud on daily basis.

"My life is f**king Pride," she said. "Like, Happy Hippie? That's my f**king life. It doesn't stop in a month. You know? This isn't Christmas or Valentine's Day where you give people some presents for no f**king reason just because you're supposed to."

"Saying that these people really matter, my voice matters and I want to use it for something, it's given me such a purpose," she added.

Miley launched the Instagram campaign early last month. The campaign is meant to raise people's awareness of LGBT community by sharing their personal and positive stories. It is part of her current effort with Happy Hippie Foundation to fight against injustice faced by LGBT people and homeless teens.

Speaking in the interview, Miley talked about the progress of the campaign. "I think it's been so awesome. It grew to be so much bigger than what we expected," she said. "We thought it was just going to be something I would post on Instagram. But these pictures turned out so magical, and everyone's personality is shining through in all the photos that it felt like it needed something beyond Instagram."

Miley admitted her desire to help the LGBT people come out as their true selves has been increasing since she launched the campaign. "I think just how many different trans people I've had direct message me on Instagram and tell me their stories. It makes me want to continue to shoot more people all the time," she continued.

"I've always loved photography, but I didn't want to take pictures of f**ing clothes. I really wanted to take pictures of people who are telling me something, you know? And I think that these people have such a good story that it just makes me now know that this is something I want to do with my life," she added. "Maybe one day I could do a book, just to have this continue and keep InstaPride growing past InstaPride."
