Chris Brown and Kendrick Lamar Announced as BET Award Performers

Michael B. Jordan and Zendaya have also been announced as presenters for the annual awards show which this year will air on June 28 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown and Kendrick Lamar are set to make appearances at the 2015 BET Awards. The R&B superstar and his "Autumn Leaves" collaborator will be among performers at the annual awards show slated to air later this month.

Breezy is fresh off announcing a summer tour dubbed "One Hell of a Nite Tour". Fetty Wap, Kid Ink, Omarion and Teyana Taylor are supporting the 25-date trek which is starting on August 12 and concluding on September 19 in Concord, CA.

Lamar, meanwhile, is currently enjoying the success of his latest album "To Pimp a Butterfly", which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its release earlier this year. He additionally is ruling the singles charts with the new version of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood".

The 2015 BET Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on June 28 at 8 P.M. ET. Brown is leading the pack with six nominations. He ties with Nicki Minaj who also scores six nods in various categories. Trailing behind them are Beyonce Knowles and Lil Wayne who score four each.

Michael B. Jordan and Zendaya Coleman will be among presenters at this year's festivities while Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross are co-hosting. More performers and presenters are expected to be announced in the coming days.
