The actress has listed her magnificent mansion in New York for $75 million, three times more expensive than the most expensive San Remo apartment sold last year.

AceShowbiz - Demi Moore has confirmed the price for her Central Park West penthouse in San Remo, New York City. The actress wants $75 million for the mansion, triple the price of the most expensive San Remo apartment which was sold last year for $26.4 million.

In an email, Moore revealed the reason behind her decision to sell the apartment. "I'm spending the majority of my time in my other homes, and this apartment is too magnificent not to be lived in full time," so she told The New York Times.

"We looked at everything on the park, Fifth Avenue, Central Park South and Central Park West, and there was just nothing like it," the 52-year-old star continued. "The location, architecture and history of the San Remo were on a completely different level."

Moore's triplex south tower penthouse has about 7,000 square feet of interior living space and 1,500 square feet of wraparound terraces with views of the park and midtown Manhattan. According to the newspaper, the listed price also includes a two-bedroom and two-bath lobby-level maisonette.

The monthly maintenance charge for the penthouse is $17,912.85. Meanwhile, the monthly maintenance for the maisonette is $3,273, as reported by the paper.

Moore and her ex-husband Bruce Willis bought the penthouse along with a 2-bedroom lobby-level apartment in 1990 from "Saturday Night Fever" producer Robert Stigwood. Prior to Moore, the mansion was home for celebrities like Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton and Steven Spielberg. Irish singer-songwriter Bono lives in the penthouse at the tower across from Moore's apartment.
