AceShowbiz - Bradley Cooper was among the triumphant stars at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, April 12. The actor was announced by "Pitch Perfect 2" cast as the winner of Best Male Performance for his portrayal as real-life U.S. soldier Chris Kyle "American Sniper".
The hunk beat the likes of Ansel Elgort ("The Fault in Our Stars"), Chris Pratt ("Guardians of the Galaxy"), Channing Tatum ("Foxcatcher"), and Miles Teller ("Whiplash"). "It's because of you. You brought awareness to the men and women and their families in the military," Cooper said.
Although losing the Best Male Performance, Elgort and Tatum still managed to take at least one Golden Popcorn earlier on the awards show. The former won Best Kiss with Shailene Woodley for "The Fault in Our Stars" and the latter grabbed Best Comedic Performance for "22 Jump Street".
