FX's "The Americans" and Netflix's "Bloodline" were not the only shows which scored renewals on Tuesday, March 31. Comedy series "New Girl" and "House of Lies" also have received new season orders from FOX and Showtime, respectively.

"New Girl" starring Zooey Deschanel is picked up for a fifth season for the upcoming 2015-16 season. The renewal will bring the show to hit 100-episode milestone.

"Four seasons in, 'New Girl' continues to be one of the smartest and most relatable comedies on television," says David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. "The writing is razor-sharp, the ensemble is consistently hilarious, and we couldn't be more proud of Liz, Brett, Dave and the entire 'New Girl' team. We absolutely love this show and we're so excited to bring it back for Season Five."

Filming on the fifth is reportedly already underway as the show prepares for Deschanel's maternity leave. TVLine additionally reports that John Cho will appear in the upcoming season as "a guy Jess meets when she excitedly reports for Jury Duty."

"House of Lies" will also return for a fifth season, which consists of 10 episodes, to air next year. "When you have a gifted acting ensemble led by Don Cheadle and smart, acerbic writing led by showrunner Matthew Carnahan, you expect something special, and 'House of Lies' delivers for us each season," Gary Levine, exec vice president of original programming, Showtime Networks, says of the show which also stars Kristen Bell.
