Vince Vaughn is tapped as Grand Marshal for the upcoming 57th annual Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 22. He will give drivers the command to start engines during the car race. He is also expected to take part in pre-race ceremonies and ride in one of the Grand Marshal cars during the pace laps prior to green flag.

"Last year was an exciting one for NASCAR and I can't wait to help kick off the 2015 season as the Daytona 500 Grand Marshal," the actor said in a release. "The Daytona 500 is one of the biggest events in all of sports and I feel honored to be able to be a part of it in it in such a major way."

Vin Vaughn will release his latest movie "Unfinished Business" on March 6 Stateside. He joins the rank of Ben Affleck, James Franco, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Matthew McConaughey, and Chris Evans as the celebrity Grand Marshal at the Daytona. In 2007, he became an honorary pace car driver at Texas Motor Speedway.
