Ariana Grande Announced as Performer for NBA All-Star Game

The former Nickelodeon star joins previous All-Star Game performers like Janelle Monae, Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna and Alicia Keys.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande is bringing her golden pipes to a basketball court next month. The NBA announced on Thursday, January 22 that the pint-sized diva would headline the halftime of the NBA All-Star Game slated for Sunday, February 15.

This year's game will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It's airing live on TNT at 08.00 P.M. Grande follows in the footsteps of Janelle Monae, Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna and Alicia Keys who have all performed during the All-Star Game in the past.

Before headlining the February 15 event, Grande will take the stage at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards that's taking place on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The former Nickelodeon star is joining the line-up that also features the likes of Ed Sheeran, Madonna, Sam Smith and more.

Additionally, she's nominated for two awards at the prize-giving show including Best Pop Vocal Album for "My Everything" and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bang Bang" featuring Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.
