Amanda Bynes reportedly is angry after her parents tricked her into flying to L.A. and admitted her into a mental hospital. Sources told TMZ that the "Easy A" actress felt betrayed that her parents orchestrated the plan with Sam Lutfi to admit her to the Pasadena facility and she felt that their relationship was "destroyed forever."
The report further claims that Bynes is now being treated in the women's lockdown section of the facility. Her doctors have given her medications, but it takes some time to show the expected results.
Bynes started receiving treatment on Friday and their doctors reportedly decided to extend the psychiatric hold until two weeks. Her parents allegedly will seek conservatorship again prior to her release.
Some celebrities have shown their support to the 28-year-old actress. "May she get well soon and enjoy a bright healthy successful future," Courtney Love tweeted. Nick Cannon additionally told Huffington Post recently, "My heart goes out to her. I pray for her daily."
Chrissy Teigen also talked about the former child actress during an appearance at Variety's Power of Women event. "Amanda and I are the same age so I grew up watching her and really looking up to her and for me, to see this path that's happening and to watch it, is kind of really affecting me in ways that I didn't think it would," she told E! News. "I obviously don't know her at all but I want to bring her back and I want to make her happy and healthy."
