AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes has delighted fans with the latest update on her life. The former actress, who has mostly stayed under the radar, has been receiving glowing responses after making a rare public appearance.
The "Hairspray" star stepped out to attend an art show and clothing pop-up in West Hollywood, California on Saturday, December 21. The event marked her first official public appearance in over a decade.
The former Nickelodeon star co-hosted the event, which was held at the Plants & Spaces gallery in Los Angeles, alongside designer Austin Babbitt to display her creations. At the event, she displayed art pieces with titles such as "Stars", "Grey", "Night" and "Lavender Dreams".
The 38-year-old stunned in a black cropped cardigan with butterfly clasps, black pants and matching boots. She wore her hair slicked back as she sported a nose ring and showed off her manicured hands.
Amanda looked healthy and in good spirits while taking photos with fans and chatting with attendees. She took to her Instagram page to share photos of her with her best friend Liam Poulsen, who kissed her on the temple of the head.
Liam also celebrated Amanda on her big night, writing on his own social media page, "Congratulations Amanda on your beautiful art show. This is an incredible turnout." Podcaster Irvin Scott gushed about the former actress and her works, "I had the honor of attending @amandaamandaamanda1986's art show and getting to know her better. Her story is truly inspiring."
Another visitor, Matt Lopez, wrote on his page, alongside a reel of the "Hairspray" star with other guests, "Amanda Bynes meeting & greeting her fans. She was wonderful to all."
Amanda also received a ton of praises from her followers on Instagram. "You look great queen," one wrote in the comments section of her post. Another declared, "We love to see a healing woman!"
